It seems to me that we have made church the focus and I'm not convinced that what we do is what Christ intended. I can't find evidence in the scripture that supports the present state of the church. He came to seek and to save the lost. And in most churches, the lost aren't there. We need to go where they are. And, if Jesus showed up tomorrow in our towns I don't believe our churches is where He would be found. Somehow we have to understand that it's not about us!!! Let's get together soon! What "things" need scriptures back up. So many "churches" do CHURCH different, It's hard to pin point what your talking about... unless the post is just to stir thinking in general terms towards the WHY?!
